Record Transferring - Digital Audio
Do you have a favorite record? Our Transferring Service provides a new life for your record. Our Mastering facility is equipped with some of the best equipment in the world to transfer your audio to digital format.
Transferring your record to CD is different from Restoration because it is an exact copy of what is on the tape. The hiss of a cassette or the warm rumble and clicks/pops of a record is desired by some audio enthusiasts. Transferring leaves these original qualities of the cassette or record so it can continue to be enjoyed in a new digital environment.
As part of the Transferring Service, Black Dog will provide you a CD of your project. This will preserver your digital audio for years to come. Our Taiyo Yuden CD's have a life span of over 100 years.
The Process
In order to get started, forward your record(s) to Black Dog Mastering Studio. Once our Engineers receive your project, they will begin to transfer your record(s) to a digital .wav file. Once complete the final version will be burned onto a CD for your listening pleasure. We will then forward you the final CD, and your records. These CD's can be played in any CD player, and can also be saved to your hard drive.
Affordable Rates
Black Dog Mastering Studio offers a separate studio for all Restoration and Transferring Services. This allows our business to offer excellent and competitive rates on these services.
